Yah.. I was trying very very hard to refrain from making the first post.. hahaha…

    Very pretty colours.

Can use these to track monthly pics of baby leh… from 0 to 12 months.. cool right? :)

  6. Eunice Lek

Stephanie, really? I haven d/l it yet to see. but will need Adobe Photoshop for this, right?

  7. Jolene Neo

oh..dont need photoshop for this!! but at least you need fireworks or some open source graphic editing tool, Gimp
    http://www.gimp.org/windows/

This is FREE & its highly recommended if you dont have photoshop. :em54:

  8. Eunice Lek

Jolene, yeah! great news for me as I don’t have adobe photoshop..thks! :em63:

  9. Grace

hmmmm… haven’t tried this. simpler to use as compare to photoshop :em39:

  10. Stephanie

I was thinking it would be good to track baby’s every month’s milestone..

On the left can briefly state baby’s milestone then right can put pictures… heheheh Go by month… then make it into a calendar.. hahah, nice right?

  11. Eunice Lek

Stephanie, agree. Since Jolene commented that it can be done thru GIMP, i will give it a try this wkend. :em62:

sorry ladies, i dun have Adobe photoshop so i will always ask if GIMP can be used for the design or not..pls be patient with me hor :em66:

  12. Eunice Lek

Jolene, ask u something. what is the size of ur photo u put on the blank space? i can’t fit the photos in as nicely as urs leh :em29:

    advices,pls?:em56:

  13. Jolene Neo

:em66: You need to place the right photo behind design first. Then rotate & reduce the photo proportionally.Next, place the left photo under the 2 previous layer. Then rotate & reduce proportionally. This is the concept. :em20:

  14. Eunice Lek

Jolene, ok i go and try it out again. :em49:

    thks! :em55:

  15. Eunice Lek

Jolene, i still cannot do it. :em61:

  16. Jolene Neo

    HI,
Eunice, can you roughly explain at which step you are stuck?… :em52: i try my best to help :em47:

  17. Grace

I downloaded all of SP calendar desktops and it’s amazingly beautiful… did them using my son’s photos… NICE :em55:

  18. Eunice Lek

Jolene, I opened the SP calendar file thru GIMP, then opened my bb pic..frm there i cannot scale down to the size leh..tried until i pek chey already :em27::em61:

think i dunno how to use the software :em52:

  19. Jolene Neo

Ya ..i saw Grace, those desktop design is really beautiful. I love them too but do note the desktop design is only 72DPI. So we cant print with that quality. Eunice, I will check tomorrow & let you know (**tonight not free lei). It should be easy! Dont worry. :em24:

  20. Grace

Haiz… din realise that the print resolution is so low.

  21. Stephanie

Grace!!! :em69: Saw what u did… so nice… but its a real pity that we cannot print?

Anyway to rectify or any templates in calendar form that can print?

It will be so nice if you can print on your own and make it into a calendar and give them as door gifts to those whom come for kiddo’s birthday or something… heheheh

  22. Eunice Lek

Jolene, thks. u really my “jiu xin” :em63:

  24. Jolene Neo

    hi Eunice,
I have managed to use GIMP to recreate the same effect as the above. :em62: I will try to provide the tutorial soon!

  25. Jolene Neo

So how was your photoshop experience at your sister’s place? :em51:

  26. Grace

Is it easier to use as compared to Photoshop :em39:

  27. Jolene Neo

mmm…. for ppl like me will be harder to use because I am very used to the functions of photoshop. I know where to find all the short cut. :em35: For Eunice, it might be easier to pick up if she does not have any prior experience with photoshop. Once you get used to certain keys, it will be hard to change.. :em53:

  28. Eunice Lek

    Jolene,

i din manage to try at my sis’s pl :em61:

  29. Eunice Lek

    Jolene,

  30. Jolene Neo

Ya…will release in my blog :em34:

  31. Eunice Lek
